I have been to Essential many times over the past years. For the most part it is a fun place to go. There are only a few things that I dont like and they are: 1) The entrance fee is over priced. Especially on themed nights. They will hold a "special" night that is really no different than any other night there. They just have a different foam sign hanging from the ceiling and charge more to get it. 2) The door staff (enough said). 3) The majority of staff have no customer services skills. If you can get the girl that's working in the coat room off her face, to stop dancing, good luck getting your coat back because chances are she's lost it.

The best gay club in town! Full-on three floors dance arena with wall to wall men. Themed nights really are a feature and are held regularly, but Saturday night is the one to go mad in.
