The Cobden Club is a private members club. To join you must be recommended by two existing member's. They serve food and have two bars with which they have a late license.
Spacious and artistic, Cobden Club is the luxurious haunt in trendy West London; with its new ground floor echoing the contemporary feel of a New York warehouse as well as combining the original Victorian features, Cobden Club meshes elegance with comfort.
Always setting a vibrant buzz, Cobden Club is essential for special occasions and get-togethers. Whether a few bevies, dining or work , this venue ticks all social boxes. As clientele goes, you can expect this venue to be heaving with a mish mash of punters, from bohemian Notting Hillbillies, musicians, artists, aristos and trustafarians, Cobden Club caters for anyone and everyone…
The Cobden is an enigma. A decadent and luxurious members club, priding themselves in delivering some of the best cocktails in the country and yet at the same time manages to pull off an enjoyable relaxed and, importantly, pretentious free evening without any effort. The club itself consists of three floors. The bottom bar, which is pretty sparse and a hint of modern Japanese to it has a lot of space for a little dance & drink. The second floor is a opulent cocktail bar and dining room which is more the members kind of scene, with a huge fish tank, comfy leather sofas bringing out the British institution feel and some good grub ( from what I remember from one of my numerous visits). Upstairs is another large bar with an almost ballroom feel to it. A large stage is often host to live music and cabaret.For me, as a huge fan of fine drinks and cocktails, the Cobden's bar team are a dedicated and talented bunch, using good premium spirits to mix up ones favourite tipple. I would highly recommend this place and if you make it there go for one of their Old Fashioned cocktails it is the mutt's nuts.
Love this place, never a moment it isn't packed and teeming with revellers. Though, this place is oh so spacious you still feel cramped, but it adds to its vibrant vibe.
Great atmosphere in here... The top floor reminds me of a ball room dancing hall or something! downstairs has a kind of industrial feel to it... all in all, a great place to dance the night away!
