Baa Bar is a modern European style cafe bar. They provide a range of entertainment including a regular DJs and drinks promotions.
You just can’t help but mimic sheep sounds when pronouncing this bar. Moving swiftly on. Baa is renowned for its eclectic nights, and not a place for your mundane usual themed soirees.
You can expect fresh sounds and beats at this bar. Like all bars at the weekend, Baa can get very claustrophobic. However, if you edge your way through to the dancefloor there will plenty of room to manoeuvre, and surely that is where it counts!

If your after a fight with a chav this is the place to be, wheter its the chavvy bouncers (major chip on there shoulder), the chavvy people who go the place and stand there gorping at you as you attept to have a good time or the chavvy toilet inspectors who panic when they're asked a question.
The music is repetitive, the DJ plays the same setlist every week. The place is too small and cramped inside. The drinks are warm.
Not the place to be.
This place *used* to be great ... alternative crowd, great DJ's, good vibe, decent bouncers. Unfortunately it now seems to be completely the opposite, a haven for townies that just want to get wasted and stand around staring at each other in a mildly threatening manner.
Ok, so I'm in my early 30's now and my old stomping ground has moved on since I once frequented it, but the Baa Bar is just one example of the demise of the once great Slater Street, which is a shame when the city is supposed to be celebrating its diverse culture this year.
It were all fields round here in my day ... bloody kids!
