i remember the orbit from Dec 1991 the first "rave" i ever went to and beleieve me when i say that The Orbit rocked!! Who would have thought a small town like Morley would house such a good nightclub and clubs of that nature were still very much underground in 1991. i have had some amazing nights in there that i will never forget. By the way did you know that before the orbit moved to morley it used to be in Osset a small town near Wakefield and it was just as good a night there too.

i started goin to the orbit around 94 n it was bloody awesome,the atmosphere made that club wot it was.it was a dirty hard techno club that made no apologies.no glitz or glamour just dirty sweaty people dancin like maniacs to dirty hard beats.sweat n condensation dripped from the ceilings n the chill out room stank!! the likes of jeff mills joey beltram westbam sven n anyone remember miss d jax,graced those dex.even the residents like mark berry rocked n i remember first seein him at the mad house in my home town of selby.and yes...the service station after...hartshed moor or sumat wasn't it called??? anyone remember mad mick the egyptian from rochdale??...christ that man was nuts!! anyways...the orbit was the most awesome club i've ever been to n its a travesty it shut down. loved that place.........

Yep, never heard a bad word about the place. It was PURE ENERGY. The venue seemed to pull the best out of everyone who played, Mills and Vath we know are class (they could write romantic novels ?!) but even the likes of Marco Zaffarano had absolute belters there. LOVED IT - thank god digital cameras were rare back then !! Strangely 10 years on I now work in Morley but not sure whether to go and check out the place to see what it has become - i may cry !!

Every other week Jamie and myself let our hair down to the fullest, never in my life will i ever forget that place, the orbit on a Saturday night, nige walker west bam sven god bless you all, they were the best days of my life. If i had one wish that would be let me have just another night there!!!!bring it back!!!!love to all who i ever met there from one spaced out babe, Vickyxxx
