The atmosphere is very nice and i like the fish pond. The food is of good quality. We did not wait long for food or table. I like the ideas of all the fresh drinks. They also had a good variety of home-made ice cream and i especially like the delicious shorbet served in hand-made frozen up ice bowls with kiwis and petals frozen in with it.
food pretty good, the prawn crystal dumplings are great. the sushi and sashimi are decent. Some interesting fish choices as well. service brisk, inobtrusive and fairly friendly. I liked it: some of the reviews seem overly negative - its not absolutely amazing, but is pretty good value: serves some quality, interesting food.

After visiting Tokyo (the real one) last year, I have decided that the vegetarian and vegan options available in Little Tokyo in Leeds are way more exciting than anything you get in Japan! ( They don't seem to have any veggie food in Tokyo, unless you go to an expensive Buddhist restaraunt, or to a temple).
I can understand that Japanese people probably wouldn't find Little Tokyo authentic, but personally, I prefer eating in Little Tokyo, as I am a veggie.
If, however, you are a meat and fish eater, and have eaten real Japanese food, you might be disappointed.
i,m sorry to say ,that was worst .japanes food i never eat , so if reading my comment don,t go there
full stop////////

I visited Little Tokyo a couple of weeks back with Mrs Kingsley having heard good things for quite a while. Though nowhere to put your coats it seemed we sat at a little table upstairs with a bottle of beer a peice while we perused the very large (in both choice and size) menu. After ten minutes sipping and perusing we were shown downstairs to our table. The main dining area has a huge fish tanks with some kind of skates bumping around inside. There is a large sunken table for six just next to eat for that special meal. We were happy with our small central table, able to watch the fish and soakup what can be described as a nice place to be on a Friday. Plently of little staff scurry past carrying plates and drinks and always ready to bring more if you should ask. The food arrived quickley once ordered and we weren't disapointed. Deep fried jalepino's and some type of rice balls with wasabi for Mrs K, were quickly polished off. Then the mains of Sashimi and a seafood assortment with seaweed was plonked down and disapeared quicker than a mobile phone on an unattended table in bar fibre.
A couple of sake later and a very reasonable billl later we rolled out into the cold air happy with our slice of Japanese for the night. The toilets are also very interesting, especially if you walk into the wrong ones by mistake!
