Had a great Saturday night (rugby and birthday celebrations) and can't thank the staff enough for their cheerful and accommodating manner.Laid back, and lots of fun, with great food and music.
I have been to all of the pubs in the area and nothing comes close to the Rose.A real pub, starring real peole.WE LOVE IT HERE AND NEVER WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE.The food is like the best secret ever (don't tell),It aint full of twats but it is not just for the dull fashionistas ever. The music is better than anywhere else too.If every pub was like this one, no one would ever go home
One of the best damned pubs I have been into ever...Food is beter than most restaurants.Staff are not up their asses (as a lot are in the area).Prices are reasonable.DJ's are quirky but not too cool-for-school.Crowd are good mix of old regulars (or peculiars...) and trendier Islingtonites.Juke box to beat all others. And one of the best places to watch the football in London.
"I had a fantastic time in there the other night. It's been totally refurbished and is owned by ex-Lock Tavern and Fluid managers Rob and Matt. I suggest you guys go down there to check it out as I'm sure you will be as impressed as I was. "
