Went there around 6.30pm today. My fiance had a minor problem with one dish after eating half. The staff removed it (very friendly, and appropriately apologetic - genuinely shocked and the manager immediately came to apologize). No questions ask, full refund, and complimentary drinks.The food was just fine, the problem was (as I said) minor, and the staff were nice and friendly. The fixed menu is pretty good value, and I'd definitely go back.

I had the steak the first steak was very gristley my knife couldn't cut through it. I asked for another steak which was just as tough. The chef did not question the return of two steaks. This was very disappointing, it was a family evening....which spoiled the evening, after paying 50 pounds we sped directly to mcdonalds drive through which we thorougly enjoyed, mcdonalds were much quicker service and at least had a smile on their faces unlike the staff at the cafe uno. So do yourself and your wallet a favourite and drive or run by Cafe Uno.

It is one of my favourite places for food, and the interrior is cosy without being pretentious and the food prices are great. We always end up ordering much more than we thought we would, however, the service is well below average. We noticed, that if we keep ordering wine and laugh loud, we receive a bill, which is roughly 25% higher! We then have to argue about the items we did not order and eventually, the new lower bill arrives. Coincidence? Think not. On the other hand, I went there again a couple of days ago and service was wonderful, and they even left us a little card on the table with lots of boxes to tick about their service. To the ones moaning about the portions - they're normal size, not American

We spent the weekend in London and our first night experience at this Restaurant was sooooooooooooo good we went there for the other 2 nights and we were delighted with the food.This is an excellent Restaurant for food and service.Cant wait to go back.

We went to cafe Uno on Sat night and must admit it was quite a disappointing experience. We had to wait 20mins for the menus, another 20 to get the drinks. Food eventually arrived after over an hour, but we only got one meal instead of two...Then waited another 20 mins to get both meals together. When we got to the end and paid the bill (no discount was offered) we actually had to ask for our change back as the floor manager did not intend to give it to us! Service was absolutely terrible. Would not recommend it to anybody....
