My wife and I are have been going to Amici for four years now and we are yet to be disappointed with any meal we have eaten there. We have tried most of the pizza and pasta and it really is as good as what you eat in Italy and the price is very reasonable.Tip: I am not a lover of veal but try it here as really tasty and tender. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but is not as romantic as it could be, the ceiling are bit high and the decor is a little bland but you soon forget that when you are eating the pizza.

Absolutely love this place. Good service, and the pizza and pasta are leagues nicer then La Prochetta which has spiralled out of control since its 90s heyday..All in all, great for something light, or somewhere to take friends. Well priced and friendly atmosphere. Only drawback is the decor is a bit wierd, but it adds to its character!

I have been going to Amici's for about 3 years now and i always found it has the quality of being a really good local place to eat, but I'm just as happy to take guests there as I do think the food is very good. It's a family run business so the staff are consistent and remember you. Despite being busy, they were once kind enough to let me sit and work there for a last minute exam, which thanks to the staff I passed - so offer a kindness and service well above the normal tips hungry waiters. I love the fact that they don't pester you to fill up your glass or order more - and that they use quality ingredients - straight from the their deli next door. I think it's a really nice place and appreciate that it's also really good value. An Oasis in Holloway.

This place is lovely. I have been going here for three years and the service has never been anything but fantastic.The food is delicious and there is a massive choice. It's also very very reasonable especially at Lunch Times where you can pick up there lunch time special for an amazing �5.00.

The food in this place is the most authentic tasting you will get outside of Rome or Naples, the price is very reasonable and the service is great. Eat here and you will not be disappointed.

Never thought there would be a restaurant of such good quality in Holloway.The food and service is like something you would find in an expensive restaurant in the city.Bad point:It could do with a re-fit of the sign, as it doesn't do it any justice.....that's it. The rest is all good, good, good

I have been coming to Amici for several years. The quality of the food is always great and the service excellent. The restaurant is always busy and many people come back again and again.It really is a treat to find somewhere like this in the depths of Holloway

"I have been coming here regularly for quite a few years now, after it was taken over by new management who realised that the previous very bright strip lighting was best left in interrogation rooms. " The location doesn't conjure up the image of balmy nights on the Amici coast, what with the heavy traffic of Holloway Road and the neon glow emanating from the shopping centre across the road. But if you get a seat with your back to this view, you can lose yourself in the hubbub of a friendly and efficient restaurant. " The food is well priced and is always fresh tasting. I went recently with a couple of friends who were pleasantly surprised by the quality. OK, it's never going to be a gastronomic experience of the highest order, but if you are after reasonably priced, honest Italian food this is a place worth checking out."
