333's Mother Bar is an intimate affair. Chequered walls, tilted mirrors, leather sofas - it's Hoxton's very own living room and a great venue to see your new favourite band.
During the week you'll find local artistics sharing a bottle or red, while at the weekend herds of indiekid hope to see next years NME front cover band. The funny thing is, there's a strong possibility they will as Mother Bar is becoming a 'must play' in the area. All unsigned bands are vetted by the venue before they perform so you'll hardly ever see a duffer.
In fact the only thumb downs are the entry price (up to £7 on Saturdays) and staff (...half... a... sleeep) though unfortunately this seems to be the case across the board in Hoxditch.
If you're after some credible live music in unpretentious surroundings, Mother Bar @ 333 could be the ticket.
