Hackney Central

Considering that Hackney is becoming more up and coming I suppose its only to be expected that so will the prices, although just like everyone else I expect my moneys worth... wrong!!I had the chicken and was very disappointed with the portion size! I have a moderate appetite, after mains and dessert I was still starving. The cocktails were made wrong (I know this because I am a bar tender, and make cocktails everyday!!) It�s a shame, it looked so good from the outside :(

"On a recent trip to London from Canada, I visited "Hackney Central" on at least two occasions in one week, the setting and ambience where exceptional. The food was good, well prepared and presented. Bar and wait staff were courteous, friendly and efficient. Ten out of ten. In the words of Schwarzenager, " I'll be baaack."

"The drink is pretty bog standard stuff, mabye a little over priced compared to other bars in the area. The food however was took a long time to arrive and when it did it was the wrong dish. There were four of us and they messed up three out of the four ordersThe food did not look very fresh and I did not bother to eat it."
