was in Monday night 2 twins were total idiots playing with toilet roll then inside thought the place was full of stuck ups! Could not just sit and have a quiet drink as staff were so annoying
Siouxsie said on 29th October ... "I generally like Moskito, however, on a few occasions when I have been in to eat I have had to make my own way to the bar to place an order..." hate to piss on yer chips love but its a PUB! you get table service if they have the time/ can be bothered/ like the look of you. If you want people falling all over themselves to run around after you go somewhere u pay more than 6 for a meal.Moskito's good for a laugh especially if you've got a big group. always plenty of big seated areas. drinks are cheap on a sunday but bar can be a bit busy as can be expected. good cocktails!
Sorry bub, i appreciate that you probably spent a couple of days pouring over a dictionary and thesaurus, but lets face it you got lippy and took a stance which was not yours to make. I have never encountered more pleasent and helpfull staff, doorstaff included, anywhere in Glasgow. You were asked to remove your hat or should i say skip hat on more than one occasion and you refused. Personally i ensure that i am perfectly attired and groomed prior to leaving my home and would never consider turning up to a friends do in any other condition. I can only assume that you use a really cheap hair product [Dread to think] and that you need to carry said hair product on you at all times - hence the cap. Have you considered a nice cream/wax hybrid to give lasting hold and definition. Moskito is totally cool and as long as they continue to enforce their more than fair policies it shall continue to be so.
I recently visited Moskito on Bath Street, and felt it was best pub I've ever been to. The staff are great, drinks are great and the atmosphere is perfect. It's a nice trendy pub with plenty of room. No wonder they won coolest bar in Scotland 2008.I especially thought the door staff were polite, went out of their way to ensure everyone was enjoying their night, and not to mention, their very good looking boys!!!I also enjoyed the type of customers they allow into the bar, all the people you don't want to be around on a night out are kept out, or asked to leave because their drunk, cheeky or sleazy. It's funny, the only people complaining about the door staff are the one's who nobody wants to be around.......Good job boys, best door in Glasgow!
I have to say that I think the door staff here are possibly the most rude I have ever had the misfortune to come across. I will definetly not be returning.
