I went to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with my girlfriend and came back with food poisoning. The coffees were horrible and the cake we had was not good. The staff were unfriendly and didn't even have a drinks menu. This place was also massively overpriced. Am definitely never going back.

Sally please dont listen to Mark he Does not work for Megans, We love our customers and their children. It is indeed a confusing layout but I can assure you we are committed to serving the freshest casual lunch. We are also open in the evenings and Mark was sitting in the restaurant with a large blackboard clearly marked evening menu. We have the most amazing garden and Mark should have noticed all the clients around him coming into the area he was sitting with plates of food, this could have given him a clue.you will appreciate my dismay at Marks comments when you visit .

Have read the reviews of Megans and am pleased to note that some of you get it!.Megans is just the sort of place we all need at the end of our street, somewhere you can eat good fresh food, relax , meet friends and chill. We went for breakfast stayed for lunch and left at 5.30 in the afternoon what more could you ask for.

I had a nice coffee here. Service was very friendly. Understated but homely, just the way I like my Sundays. Very peaceful and perfect for long, quiet chats with good friends.
