www.mirrorsedge.com

To celebrate the release of Mirror’s Edge, Electronic Arts is offering you the chance to experience Mirror’s Edge for real and attend a free one off Parkour workshop. You will learn the basic skills of parkour, including movement, balance and conditioning from a group of the world’s finest Parkour traceurs - www.parkourgenerations.com and then be able to use the skills you’ve picked up when you actually play the game.

The workshop will take place on Saturday 22nd November 12-1..30pm at Perry Beeches School,Beeches Road,B42 2PY

Mirror’s Edge introduces a city where everything is heavily monitored and agile couriers called runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. Players step into the role of Faith, a runner who is being hunted for a crime her sister has been framed for committing. Everything is seen through the eyes of Faith as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast-paced chases, with a never before seen sense of movement and perspective.

Faith is part of an underground community of couriers paid to hand deliver sensitive information away from the prying eyes of the powers that be. They use parkour, free-running skills and stealth to traverse the skyscrapers and sewers and stay off the radar. But when murder and politics combine, Faith and her family are thrust into the daylight and into a desperate battle to uncover the truth and survive. Live or die? Soar or plummet? One thing is certain, in this city you will learn how to run.

Members of the public can register for a free pair of tickets email two names and the word BIRMINGHAM to mirrorsedge@ea.com. Entries must be received by 4pm on Friday 21st November.
