Went there on Valentines day and the food and service was excellent. Everything about the evening was brilliant, as it was Valentines day we had a set menu, but the choices was really nice. The service was spot on, they made a real effort to make our meal unique and I will be definitely going back.

After a few years absence, I went back there last night and the place has gone downhill. The food was very mediocre (in fact BLAND is a better description), the service very poor and unprofessional and the prices have sky-rocketed. With so many, far better restaurants in the area, I don't know how it's going to survive. My advice - give it a miss until it regains its former self.

I have been to Amerigo Vespucci several times and I class it as the best. The food is fantastic, wine is delightful and the staff and management are excellent. I find it suits both family and business lunches or dinners.I have taken my daughter (5 years old) and she loves the fish tank.My husband took me there for our wedding anniversary last year and I was treated like royalty by all the staff. Never to be forgotten.Love it.
