I ate here on a very quiet Tuesday night and as a result got very mediocre food. The rice was dry, stodgy and obviously had been sitting for some time. The mushrooms were waterlogged and the salmon over cooked. The Nigiri was ok, but the even the chains do it better (Itsu, Yo! etc).However, the service was good and the prices were cheap. If I was stuck in a hotel on business and the choice is this or the hotel restaurant I would eat here, but I wouldn't go out of my way or spend my own money on this place

Went here on the off-chance after I just happened to pass by one day, and am very glad I took the chance! They are working on a limited menu as they've just opened, but there was still plenty of choice of traditional Japanese fare. My friend had the chilli beef ramen and I had a chicken teriyaki bento box, both very large portions, excellent presentation and great flavour, cooked just right. Green tea ice cream followed it all up nicely. Service was excellent, very attentive and friendly, and very fast, even on New Year's Eve! Prices were excellent too, under �40 for the two of us (with 3 rounds of soft drinks) We'll definitely go there again, often.
