The 1st venue I Dj-ed in London. It was all I imagined London to be. A bit like my home town (NYC), but, way better for House Music. Thanks guys for a brilliant party. If you missed it have a listen to my set http://readthecrowd.podomatic.com/ xxx Corey Gibbons
I have been to the White House a few times now, as everyone raves about the place. I find it very pretentious and bland! Perhaps the place does not suit me but I certainly will not be going back, unless I get out voted.

I booked the sunken area on Friday for the Licked party and just wanted to say to the team at The White House..."Thank You soo much for a great nite!" The music was great, the venue was perfect and staff were really cool..Thank you cant wait for the nxt party
Had a great night at the white house... music was good, set the mood amazingly. in regards to the overpriced drinks, it reflected the level of clientele (in comparison to infernos) so we were all happy to pay a little extra, also the cocktail list is great....creative and delicious.
Door staffs were friendly, which is very rare these days. I hate walking into a club in a bad mood because of the rude door staff, but here it certainly not the case. They are all up for a bit of banter.
In short, we had an all round great night. Looking forward to going back.
The White House is generically one of the best venues in Clapham. DJ's spilt over two floors with a members lounge on the third floor. The concensus is too make everyone feel at ease and with the new refurb and areas available to book such as the Sunken area and bamboo gallery, White House delivers on this.
Add to that a new promotions manager, forthcoming performances from Seb Fontaine, Cagedbaby, Terry Francis, Nicky Holloway & Chad Jackson to name a few. White House really is worth the 100yard trip up Clapham Park Road from the tube.
Don't believe the hype, make your own mind up, pop down or book a table.
Used to be a good place to hang out on the weekend, but off late notice trouble looming, and ststed by the previous reviewer the staff of lack off, are not very helpful. Going to start looking around for another hang out.
This place has gone downhill - the staff are surly and the crowd is terrible ,the music is ok if you like generic funky house but it feels oh so outdated ... Try Lost Society or the Loft for a decent night out in Clapham.
Can sometimes flatter to deceive ... I like the decor and the music generally is funky and the cocktails are to die for ... The bar Manager is really friendly and I have always found the crowd ok ... Much better than infernos or the grand which are also open until 4 .
I used to visit the White house regularly.Since they refurbished the place it looks amazing. Some of the parties are worth going to.But in general the change has damaged the image many people had about this place.Last time i went found it full of orange looking blonde girls wearing fake handbags and guys dressed on NEXT tshirts prettending to be the dog's.... Very sad!!Bar staff have no idea what they are doing and in general everybody was pretty rude and pretencious. The whole atmosphere of the place is gone. Its like going to the west end.Very dissapointed.NEVER AGAIN
I went to the White House for the first time on Friday and was very impressed. The venue hits the right spot between a bar and a club. The promotion on the night was called Shiva and all the Dj's were excellent ,they kept me dancing all night. 9/10
