Come and enjoy the intimate atmosphere at Rumi, a Cocktail lounge situated in the heart of the Kings Road’s buzzing nightlife. Rumi provides a chilled, mellow space in which you can assure on meeting an interesting and sophisticated crowd, or dance to the elevating tunes that gradually increase beats as the evening progresses. Taste the lusciously fresh, modern and classic Cocktails, the relaxing candle-lit tables, the abundantly cushioned sofas, or the compelling dancefloor, and everything in between.
Rumi’s distinctly contemporary chic feel, stems from a vision of the owners and their awarding winning designers. The staff bestow a very warm welcome to a clientele comprising of the local socialites and fashionable 20/30-somethings from surrounding media and production and design companies, attracted by the refreshing and comfortable atmosphere of low-lit/low seated, highly cushioned “chill zone”.
Rumi is open from early evening, right through to the early hours of the morning, by which time the mood has kicked into to another realm, induced by alluring tunes that move from a soft ambient vibe to dance-inspiring grooves.
Well-experienced, well-groomed bar staff mix classic and modern cocktails, and pour fine wines throughout the evening. Choose a Cocktail from the extensive menu or test the bartender’s knowledge! Opening Times: Wednesday – Saturday from 7pm – 1am (a 2am extension can be arranged for party bookings if requested in advance). The venue is available for bookings from Sunday to Saturday.

My friend and I had our birthday party at Rumi on the 6th of December and we had a fantastic night! The music was great and the staff were friendly - even the bouncers!!
I'd definitely recommend Rumi for a good night out with a bunch of friends but would suggest you try and book a seating area in advance as it does get quite full! The atmosphere is great and i can't wait to go back in the New Year!

Rumi has it all.......great cocktails, great music, live music, great atmosphere, great location and really very well mannered staff. I spent my birthday there and it was seamless. Manoj the manager ensured we had a large area reserved with a free cocktail shot for all my friends on arrival. We had our own waitress who introduced herself to me, ensuring that I could relax knowing all my friends were being well looked after. I will be spending many more evenings at Rumi........so you must give it a go - it promises to be a great venue for many years to come! Mercedes Donaldson
I can only say that all the good things I'd heard about Rumi were totally justified. Music was excellent, moving progressively through genre and catering for most tastes without resorting to overplayed tracks, cocktails were well-done and sensibly priced, and although small Rumi is just big enough to generate an atmosphere without losing intimacy. All in all I had a fantastic birthday here last Saturday & can't leave without a final word on the management - a welcome blend of friendly professionalism that is frustratingly elusive across much of the area. Other clubs take note.
