Head out of the West End and you’ll be treated to a pleasant change from the usual superclubs and destination bars. Ad Lib is a cosy, unpretentious venue a world away from the pumping music and posing of it’s larger rivals.
With a Mediterranean theme it’s comfortable, light and airy, with comfortable seating and chilled out tunes at just the right volume. Many regulars come in from the nearby Chelsea and Westminster Hospital so expect doctors and nurses galore rather than your usual braying West Londoners. Mouthwatering snacks with an international flavour make Ad Lib a one stop shop for a post work drink while reservations or hire for groups large or small mean there’s few better places for a get together with friends no matter the occasion.

I've been there few times and guys...I had fun!!! The cocktails were really good and the atmosphere was great 'cose of the people and the wicked staff.... I'll recommend it for any night out with friends!!

This is one of my favorites places in London.The music and atmosphere are great, nice french funny staff.I celebrate my birthday in there and i had a great time!!!!

I went to this place for the first time a few weeks ago. I have to say, I was a bit apprehensive, because in my previous experience I have found bars in that particular area full of toffs who are EXTREMELY deserving of a good kicking....NOT THIS PLACE THOUGH!!!!!!In fact, this is by far the best night out I have had in ages.......Firslty (and most importantly) for the ladies... Gorgeous, friendly and approachable..... nice!!!General atmosphere... At the front of the bar there were the people sitting at tables and the ambience was more chatty.. Go in to the back however.. and you find yourself in a completely different establishment!!Can I just say, who was that dude on percussion...? He actually plays with his head!!! MANIAC!! That dude has to be seen to be believed... I usually find crusty bongo players rather annoying, but this guy was brilliant. Great show mate!Drinks.... Not really a conoisseur myself but I was well impressed with the selection and service. I generally stick to Gin and Tonic, and it amazes me that bartenders can still get it SO wrong. However, here I was chuffed with the amount of care that went in to my drink(s!)The drinks weren't the cheapest, but they certainly were not outrageous....And remember folks... You get what you pay for these days...I shall bore you no longer but, all in all I found my Friday night in Ad Lib to be a resounding success. I couldn't recommend it more...
