The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are friendly, good jukebow is always a hit in my eyes too!

It's not many places that actively put on nights but here you get kareoke night/quiz night/sports (though I'm not a fan).

Our team convene weekly for the quiz night, which is always a good night, hopefully the Saturday Karaoke will be our next conquest.

CHERYL & JEFF.LANE said on 26th June ... "Hi my name is Jeff and I am the landlord of the Albany my wife and I have run this pub for over 13 years. At this present moment we have 12 staff of which six have worked for us in the past and has come back and we have re-employed them.

Out of the 12 we have now 5 have worked for us over 4 years and 2 who have worked for over 6 years some nights we have a dozen or so ex-staff that choose to come in to say hello.

We feel your comments about us are really unjustified as we have always looked after the welfare of all our staff.

john said on 28th April ... "Well just come in for a visit to the albany and what can I say... A great pub sadly let down by the landlords attitudes towards his staff. All he needs is a whip and he will be complete. Don't get me wrong this pub is great. Take him out of the equation and you will have a winner, come on brains do the right thing and make this pub the best in Cardiff."
