shelley said on 07th May ... "When was the last timeyou went there? I recently went there and it was brilliant.The refurbishment is A1, the seating was brill. Hand shaped sofas, leather sofas - all very pricey. You can tell a lot of time money and thought has been put into it .

The atmosphere was A1 there is a no tolerance policy to fighting; any trouble and you are out. So forget what it used to be like, give it a go you'll be really glad you did!

Clive Jones said on 14th March ... "The Apollo 2 has recently (Spring 2008) been refurbished with leather seating and real wood flooring in the first floor club room. A lighting upgrade is planned, taking the effects from the current halogen high amp draw style to the more environmently friendly low energy LED type.
Downstairs the original bar area is now a totally new room - "Bar Retro". Again, LED lighting is planned, with an ever changing LED wall in the pipeline.
Not surprisingly, music policy is 70's - 90's in Bar Retro, with the Apollo 2 club room hving a free reign - Dance, RnB, Bassline, Classic old school cuts and party tracks prevail here."
