Unless you’re a fan of brittle and burnt paella and overcooked prawns, I wouldn’t bother eating here. La Tasca is one of those very large, very popular restaurants that give you an authentic McSpain experience. The kind of place you’re warned not to try in guidebooks to Spain. Think of any pizza parlour in Leicester Square. I would say that I can’t understand the popularity, but then it was pretty cheap and there was lots of food. Don’t you always feel a bit dirty though, if you go to one of those eat-all-you-can joints? Sometimes you get exactly what you pay for. Save your pennies and buy an EasyJet ticket instead.
