The Brondes Age is more than just a local bar, it's also a pretty restaurant. They have good TexMex food, Staropramen beer, comfy couches inside and a large outdoor seating area with heat lamps. This place is nice both for lunch time food and for evening drinks.
Brondesage has not really progressed since it opened. It was the first place on the Kilburn high Road to cater above and beyond the expected local culture (alchol-driven pub-centric minus food and munchies). Sadly the loos are still somewhat sticky, the music a shade distorted but you do meet a wide variety of unpretentious people the. A very handy place for a late-night nightcap. Do try the Black Lion down the road which is more salubrious and managed by the same folks. Another option is the North London Tavern across the road which is more female-friendly and the staff take time to remember your name...
This is a nice place to go on a week night. Nice ambient, decoration is great. Big screen to see the football, and a nice terrace in the high road.
