Good parking, great atmosphere, customers a-plenty when me and the missus visited this pub recently for a meal. Yes there are kids but so there should be, kids are tomorrow's paying customers - ban kids, cut off your air supply! Beer was good and food was very good for the price you pay, most meals below a fiver (unless you go for the larger portions and even then they average just £6). Food was delivered piping hot on sizzling skillets and came within 10 minutes. On the downside the steak the wife ordered was supposed to be medium-rare but came very well-done. And I could have done without the disco turning up at 9'o-clock (which apparently is a regular thing) but then again I am just a misserable old bugger! Would visit again, no hesitation (but go before 9 LOL!).
Trap.

Grew up in the Journeys end, worked there for a couple of years, drank there for about 8. Bostin boozer.
Great pub! the locals are friendly and the bar staff are all so lovely, it's a great place to take the kids and the food is served with a smile. Wouldn't want to be anywere else on a Friday & saturday night, the landlady Sarah has done a grand job and works non stop to please every one.
I love the Journeys End. Have been going there with my hubby for about the last twelve years and with my kids for the last seven years. The food is great, the atmosphere is excellent and the landlady is lovely.
