La Tasca is a great authentic Spanish restaurant with a wide selection of Tapas on offer for all tastes.
Choose from a range of Chicken, Seafood, Vegetable and salad dishes for a fantastic dining experience with friends or family.
It's quite easy to miss this branch of La Tasca, tucked away behind Broad Street, but it is a hidden gem which seems to be popular with lots of different types of people.
Whenever I've been here we've been well looked after and served quite quickly, which definitely encourages me to go back and recommend other people to give it a visit.
If you're on a bit of a budget try their 'Tapas for a tenner' menu on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday where it's all the tapas you can eat for £10. There's not as much choice as on the main menu but still plenty of tasty spanish treats to get stuck into!
i but la tasca in broad street is excellent and the service is perfect so to the ones to complaint make sure you are righting the true muchas gracias
This was the best tapas bar i ever been in all off uk and the service is excellent thank you
I know service varies from place to place - but i have eaten in La Tasca in Brum, Leamington, Liverpool, Solihull and London and never received poor service - but if you want great service then go to the one in Leamington Spa.I do accept my observations are affected by bias as I never go in at "peak times" like a Saturday night - because when they are rushed off their feet then it is obviously likely the service wont be as good. But if you can, try them during quieter times.
Been here a couple of times now and the service has been pretty poor on both occasions. i can appreciate slow service occasionally if the place is busy but you expect the food to be good when it finally arrives. this was not the case. after sending back a couple of dishes - patata bravas and veg paella - they both came back after half an hour equally poor. The manager apologised, but you still feel cheated of 2 hours of your time and a 25% reduction on your bill just means you've possibly spent 30 rather than 40 on very poor food. Also very hard to pin down the "tapas for a tenner" deal emblazoned everywhere outside but staff very reluctant to give it you, i.e., not in December, very busy tonight, manager gives too many discounts, etc.
