About Apres
Just based on interior this bar wins hands down, just when you thought you can’t overdo the slickness of London bars, Brum’s Après hits the drinker’s spot.  Split into two levels, Apres is splashed out in potent red, accompanied by wooden decking, thus creating a warm atmosphere. With its bubbly music and staff, its chilled out appeal is extended to the friendly punters that dine and drink in here. Whether you want a drink or some dinner Apres has what you need, if not more…

I occasionally drink in Apres, Edgbaston. I find the atmosphere nice and relaxing, bar staff always helpful. Food is nice.Bar prices are a bit steep but you pay for the good feel and atmosphere.

I organised a night out with my friends and decided to go to Apre....what a mistake that was.....firstly i was told that i had not booked a table?? which i had called 3 times to confirm (after reading the reviews thought id better make sure). We decided to stay and invited some other friends who were later told to leave as APPARENTLY...they had pushed a waiter who spilt drinks and smashed a glass...can i pls note my friends were sitting down with us and some waiters, who were dressed like bimbos walked passed us and being clumsy dropped the tray...i later tried to talk to the manager who said ' leave if your not happy'...he was very rude and didnt not care about what i was trying to say. He had no customer service skills and needs to learn how to talk to people.

Myself and some work colleagues from Ireland are coming to Birmingham for our Xmas party in November. We are coming midweek (Wed and Thurs) but we have heard rumours that everywhere closes at 10.30pm so can anyone tell me if this is true or shed some light on any good pubs/ clubs to visit during our stay in Birmingham. Thanks in advance.

I went to Apres on Sumerrow Saturday to watch the footbal and was disgusted with the service and treatment by the staff and even the general manager. I have drunk in Aprez on several occasions and never had a problem other than the snobby atmosphere. This time they were very unprofessional and due to a calm complaint to the unreasonable manager I was asked to finish my drink and leave.I will not be returning!

Who cares if it is Prada you're wearing?! If you don't dress in it (which I presume you didn't) you want come in.. as easy as that! Just because it is a high fashion piece of clothes you're wearing doesn't open any doors.. :)
