Believe it or not, before it was i swear to God, about 3 girls to a guy, now its probably 5 guys to 1 girl. Nowadays, Sunday is probably the worst day to go, followed by Saturday then Friday. If you really must go Rococo, you will have a better time there during the week. I'm going to a new undercover hang out now which i can't tell you else all the mainstream riffraff will be heading there but i'm sure give it a year or 2, it'll be just like Rococo.
The only asset Rococo has is all the friendly staff, Music is nothing new, atmosphere on the weekends is terrible, not so moody but not that much of a nice vibe either. Door staff are good."

i was looking kriss so i knew i would be fine. so im with my 2 cousins and i get to the very front and he lets one cousin through and tells me and ma other cousin we aint getting in!! telling us to 'get out the queue and go to sugar suite. i just told him 'hang on you just let my cousin go through' and he tells we "well u best call her back then init"

but thank goodness one of the ohter doorman knew who i was and let me through. but if it wasnt for that i would have waited nearly and hour in the queue for him 2 tell me i am not getting in.


OMD the drinks was NASTY!!!! i had Malibu and coke, the coke was FLAT. and it just didn't taste right. my cousin had southern comfort and coke, and it tasted like washing up liquid. and even the barman agreed and threw it down the sink and poured her a new drink from a fresh bottle!!


inside the club was standard, its wasn't fantastic, just a standard nite. i would go again, just not any time soon

1) If you're a couple don't go there expecting to get in together, as when i went they had two separate queues - 1 for guys and 1 for girls...
2) The Queue - fair enough it was a bank holiday I did expect to wait, but the fact me and my mate were at the front of the queue and waited almost an hour to get in, and saw approx 20 odd of the managers mates getting (who had jumped in front) was annoying, plus at one point we were told it was at maximum capacity (but were still letting in more of the managers mates..)
3) The doormen - ok you got a job to do, but dont let it get to your head - they are sooo rude and need to remember its people like us who pay their wages!
4) The music - was ok, but most of the music was last years top charters rather than this years...nuff said
5) After the whole hasstle of trying to get in to the place when we did get in it felt like a waste of time as its nothing special and seriously didnt enjoy the night - Rococo wont be seeing me in there ever again!"

There was 15 of us out a few weeks ago, on a hen night, we were all dressed up nice and dressy no outfits and were made to feel quite unwelcome by the staff in the place, esp the bar staff who at 1 point told us to turn it down a bit, (we were having a laugh!!) wasn't being too loud but having a laugh as you do on a hen night, well even if I wasn't on hen night thats how we would act, I don't go out to stick my pinky up and talk poss!!

If you want posh custom then don't put your bar on Broad Street, because there are more down to earth people out there that want a good night and don't want to be put down because you are having a laugh! Sorry for the bad review but you made me and my friends feel so small I won't be going again."

Bouncers are sound and there is hardly any trouble with all the banging tunes going on (even though the DJ spins the same records!).

Still, its one place where you have a laugh and girls are laid back :)"

Only one problem the Asian DJ. (Keeps playing the same songs, always in the same order every week, I know what track is coming next. Plus he kills the feel of the music. If you playing a song let the next song have the same beat or tempo. Keep some fluidity for 20 or 30 mins then change the style or tempo."

leicester massive said on 13th February ... "why is everyone slating rococo? its has a good atmosphere and plays good music! especially the monday night DJ that always makes us feel welcome! The 2 male managers are good at their job which they clearly enjoy and are no way racist!

The bar staff are polite and friendly, the newly appointed male supervisor is a credit to the establishment he represents what rococo is about, going out and enjoying yourself! And finally the doorstaff are well organised, approachable and always ontop of trouble. a great night out!!"
