Consistently one of the best Indians in Belfast for many years. It never fails. As far as hygiene is concerned, I don't know what the reviewer below was thinking of - there's nothing at all wrong with it. Maybe he has a grudge aganist one of the staff. I have always found the food varied, well prepared, reasonable, and he service friendly and good.
I dont really write reviews, but after reading what the goon before me wrote, i felt compelled to.. This restaurant is excellent ! Been eating here for years ive brought friends ,family and even the mother in law, and each time i cant fault the place. The staff are always friendly, food is fantastic and for a place thats won so many awards i can understand why. I love the garram masala ant the chaats are fantastic.
How people can write so much nonsense is beyond me, best indian in belfast !
Best word to describe this place "Dire!"It is the most unhygienic restaurant I have ever been in! Also the long haired guy with glasses and bad skin really has an attitude problem! When requesting drinks off the menu he rudely said "Look we have none of those beers left except for Cobra, so do you just want a soft drink?" I'm extremely surprised the place hasn't been shut down due to hygiene reasons!
Been here a couple of times in the last year. Food is good, service is friendly but not 100% professional (staff mean well, but aren't well trained), price is very reasonable, decor is not good, it looks like it hasn't been redecorated since the 80's.But overall, for value and food, it's a great place.
The finest Indian in Belfast is the Bengal Brasserie (which is not listed on this site for some reason).
