Once one of Belfast’s least savoury nightclubs, Thompsons is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance in recent months, and long may it flourish. Whilst the venue itself isn’t the biggest, and drinks are far from cheap, the place makes up for this in attitude! A lively music policy and great DJ sets keep the place pumping with dance-friendly tunes and block-rocking beats.

The clientele do the place a great service, with their positive attitude and friendly nature, as do the staff, who have to deal with massive queues and busy bars. Thompsons is a fun place to go, and there is never a dull moment.

Went to Thompsons last night for the RnB night, have to say it was the best night I've had in years. Haven't been to an RnB night in quite some time but used to go to Renshaws on a Friday nigth and O'Neill's on a Saturday and it's the same crowd, same atmosphere and same brilliant RnB music that I found in Thompsons last night. Drinks were �1.50 til 1am, how could you beat that and it was a great crowd. Door men couldn't be nicer and no rif raf at all. Will be back next week!

Went to Thompsons for the first time on Thursday..i loved it!!! Music was brilliant, drinks weren't exactly cheap..but..i danced the night away.Never really left the dance floor i just had a brilliant night and hope i do again!

Once was the dirtyst scummy nightclub in the town but in the last few months it has improved alot "new bogs" best place 2 go if u dont want 2 bump into any spides and want 2 listen to sum good tunes..... thompsons my new fav nightclub !!

used to go to this club 8yrs ago when i lived in n.ireland.Now i live in agia napa in cyprus,ive been partyin a while here now,no where can stand up to the good nights ive had in thompsons!!!!!
